Euro Trip

6 days in Bari, Italy! Nonna's home cooked lunch was great! Gloria's family took care of us really good. We had our own house to stay in. All three meals made for us. Took us out to the beach.

Highlights
- a full Italian lunch - first plate, second plate, cherries, gelato and expresso
- seafood - Italians love raw seafood like oysters, mussels, clams, squids, octopus.
- the beach - sand like our beaches but clear water!
- punzorrotti - similiar to pizza pop
- burratina - it's a ball of mozzarella cheese with butter inside of it... taste better than it sounds
- Italian hospitality - we were treated like bambino!

I departed Gloria, Sonia, and Gloria's family early this morning. I caught the 8:15AM Ryan Air to land at Bologna around 9:30AM. Walked around town for a bit and finally settle into the hostel after 2PM. Internet is free at the hostel because of technical issues. A bonus for me =).

Tomorrow I'll be heading to Ducati Museum. Ferrari is too far to get to by bus. Busing is cheap in Italy. One euro to get on and the ticket lasts for 60 minutes.

Paris- metro is confusing!!! banquette de jambon au fromage is awesome!!! three days in paris is too much. i recommend a day pass for 18 euros. That will take you to every tourist spot in town. otherwise you buy a 10 tickets for 11.30 euros.

this is how you should experience Amsterdam.

Fly KLM
drink Heinekan during the flight because it is all you can drink!
land, pick up your bags, buy metro ticket to Amsterdam Central Station
exit the Central Station and check-in at Flying Pig.
B-Line to Jolly Joker.
do two things at Jolly Joker. 1. space cake 2. hash
1 block away from jolley joker is red light district
hang out for 30 min in red light district; longer if you have business =)
redo number 2 at jolly joker
go to Dam Square and find bicycle rental
cycle to Heinekan for Heinekan Experience. take the tour. drink the 3 beer. must try Extra Cold Heinekan.
before cycling again, Jolley Joker 2.
return bicycle. walk back to Flying Pig.
must eat shourma (not donair,falaffel, or what not) on the way back to Flying Pig.
when at Flying Pig have drink at the bar and relax at the "library"
make friends and be extroverted!!!
